# 3.2 Overhead Panel

The overhead panel is used to control and monitor aircraft systems.

Main sections include:

- Electrical system
- Fuel system
- Hydraulic system
- Air conditioning and pressurization
- Anti-ice systems

**Design principle:**

- “Dark cockpit philosophy”  
    → In normal operation, no lights should be illuminated  
    → Lights indicate abnormal or non-standard conditions
